** Flashback to May 2016**
New Zealand in May 2016 was our first photography holiday that Elaine and I went on. At this stage I was very new to landscape and travel photography and I think you may be able to tell from the experience of the photographs here.
I wanted to put this blog in here to showcase how amazing and beautiful the small island(s) country of New Zealand however I don’t think my photographs don’t do justice.
The whole idea of our New Zealand trip was to travel around the Southern Island in a camper van, stopping by to photographic locations and moving on. That experience will always be considered as one of our most enjoyable however for photography. I will admit to you now, I was inexperienced then.
I have actually made another blog, on this trip that is dedicated to hiring a camper van and traveling around. You can find that blog on my Zenfolio page or by going to THIS LINK.
At the time of this blog post (August 2021) it has been over 5 years since this trip. I actually want to refer to this trip and this blog post in the future as a photo essay. It will be talking about how looking back at your previous images helps you go forth as a photographer.
Please enjoy the images below, and I would like to believe that my skills has progressed since then – Tasmania Post
